The Hot Springs Rally parade will take place from 6-7 p.m. today, which will require street and intersection closures beginning at Oaklawn Racing & Gaming, 2705 Central Ave.
The parade will proceed north on Central through downtown to Park Avenue, turn onto Gulpha Gorge Road, proceed on East Grand to Convention, and end at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Streets will reopen as the parade progresses. Malvern Avenue, from Bridge Street to Spring Street, will be closed to through traffic from 10 a.m. today until 1 a.m. Sunday for the Rally concession area.
The Hot Springs Firefighter 5K Run will take place from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, which will require progressive lane or street closures beginning at Hot Springs Mountain Tower down to Fountain Street, south on Central Avenue to Spring Street, then to Malvern Avenue, ending at Transportation Depot on Broadway Street.
Lanes or streets will reopen as the race progresses.
