'Sun, Moon, and Stars' recital Sunday in Village

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Hot Springs/Hot Springs Village Symphony Guild will present the piano artistry of Nataliya Sukhina with the recital "Sun, Moon, and Stars," at 3 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 199 Barcelona Road.

Sukhina serves as a mentor on the teaching staff for the Hot Springs Music Festival. She is an assistant professor of Practice in Collaborative Piano at Texas Tech University.

"With her extensive and diverse repertoire and numerous years of collaborative experience with vocalists and various instrumentalists, she is a sought-after pianist," a news release said.

Among the selections for the program, are Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 27, No 2, "Moonlight Sonata," by Beethoven, "The Nocturnes," by Chopin, and "Selections from Seasons, Op.37a," by Tchaikovsky.
