Emergency personnel work the scene of a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in the 4700 block of Central Avenue around 8:15 a.m. Monday. The driver of a red Nissan Versa was reportedly turning onto Higdon Ferry Road from Central when the vehicle was struck by a northbound Hyundai Elantra. The driver of the Hyundai suffered minor injuries and was transported by LifeNet to an area hospital.
