2021 Nationwide Lupus Talent Show auditions now open

Auditions for the 2021 Nationwide Lupus Talent Show will be held both in-person and online in September.

The talent show will have five categories: Premieres, ages 5-12; Elites, ages 13-17; Phenoms, 18-29; Jetsetters, 30-59; and Legends, aged 60-plus.

All performances will be judged by a panel of judges. First place will receive $1,000; second place, $500; and third place, $200.

The fifth annual statewide talent show, hosted by The Lupus Foundation of Arkansas Inc., will be held Nov. 6 at Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, in Little Rock and streamed live online at https://www.lupusarktalentshow.com.

The auditions are open to anyone, both in-state and out-of-state, ages 5 to 60-plus, with a family friendly act and safe for viewing. Musicians, singers, ensembles, choirs, dancers, comedy, or variety acts and talents of all skill levels are welcome to auditions. More than 100 acts are expected from all over the county, a news release said.

In-person auditions will be held at JoyNet Radio Studio, 1501 Main St., Little Rock, Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 26, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Nationwide online auditions will be held Sept. 17 at http://www.lupusarktalentshow.com.
