The Garland County Retired Teachers Association is accepting applications for two scholarships that will be awarded to a junior or senior education major from Garland County.
The application deadline is May 15 and can be found on GCRTA Facebook page or http://www.gcretiredta.wixsite.com/GCRTA.
"The GCRTA would also like to remind currently practicing public school educators who want to further their education of the deadline to apply for the Parsons-Burnett Scholarship Grants from the ARTA," a news release said.

The GCRTA meets five to six times a year and is open to all retired school personnel including teachers, administrators, secretaries and support staff.
