The Hot Springs Music Club will present the program "Spotlight on Sacred Music" at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 2350 Central Ave.

Included on the program will be organist Janine Tiner from Little Rock, The Village Chorale under the direction of Tom Bolton, pianist Lowella Cherry, the First Baptist Church Ladies Ensemble under the direction of Sharon King, and the First Baptist Church orchestra under the direction of Eric Jones.

"As always, the program is free and open to the public, but donations will be appreciated to the club's college scholarship fund for Garland County students majoring in music-related degrees," a news release said.

"The mission of the Hot Springs Music Club is to showcase to its members and the community-at-large a diversity of musical styles and genres. HSMC has been affiliated since its inception in 1951 with the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Arkansas Federation of Music Clubs," it said.

"The National Federation of Music Clubs is the largest nonprofit organization in America promoting and supporting American music, performers, and music education."
