LITTLE ROCK -- Kristi Carol Heaton, 57, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away March 24, 2024.
She was born July 12, 1966, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Laro and Carolyn Heaton.
Kristi was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
She had a long career in finance.
Kristi was talented, creative and passionate in all of her endeavors. Her favorite thing in life was being "Kaka" to her four precious grandchildren.
Kristi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ocie (Lona) Heaton, and two aunts that were special to her, Rosa Mary Norman and Frankie Herron.
Survivors include her daughter, Vanessa (Tyler) Smith; her parents, Laro and Carolyn Heaton; sister, Wendy Heaton; four grandchildren, Lennox, Beckham, Sutton, Sloane Smith, who were her world; one uncle, Bill (Linda) Heaton.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Kristi's life will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Inman and Rev. Harry Bates officiating.
Pallbearers include cousins, Darin Norman, Kendal Norman, Kelly Heaton, Colin Heaton, Jeff Herron, Kenny Knox, and son-in-law, Tyler Smith.
Honorary pallbearer, Kerri Norman.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Regional 1 Health in Memphis trauma unit care team.
Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grand Avenue Baptist.
